Mrs. Margaret E. Hawkins, 83, of 4729 Rosehill Road, Fayetteville, died Monday, Oct. 13, 2008, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Mrs. Hawkins was a member of Cedar Falls Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. today, Oct. 16, 2008, in Cedar Falls Baptist Church, with the Rev. William Floyd Benfield and the Rev. Daniel Norman officiating. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park. The family received friends Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Mrs. Hawkins is survived by two sons, Howard Hawkins Jr. and wife Susan of Fayetteville and Rickey D. Hawkins and wife Janice of Georgia; a daughter, Brenda Hawkins McDaniel and husband Danny of Zebulon; a brother, George Bridges of Cliffside; two sisters, Rachael Haynes of Sunset Beach and Virginia Dobbins of Alexander; three grandsons, Danny McDaniel, Patrick McDaniel and Christopher Hawkins; three granddaughters, Kerry Hawkins, Meghan Hawkins and Grace Hawkins; three great-grandchildren, Stephanie Jones, Danica McDaniel and Andrew McDaniel; and a great-great-grandson, Grayson Jones.
