Obituary

Mrs. Margaret Louise Rhodes LeMaster, 72, a resident of Fayetteville, died Thursday, Feb. 12, 2009, at her home. A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, 2009, in the chapel of Hillside Funeral Service in Washington, with Pastor Mitchell Dick officiating. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery in Washington. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. today, Feb. 14, 2009, at Hillside Funeral Service, 4500 U.S. 264 East, Washington. Mrs. LeMaster was born Feb. 12, 1937, in Henderson. She was the daughter of the late John Franklin Rhodes and Myrtle Mae Hathaway Rhodes. She was married to Dr. Pierre C. LeMaster for 43 years and was the business manager for her husband's pediatric practice. She accomplished much in her life, most of which was centered around being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She touched the lives of many people and left great memories. She will have a lasting effect on many. She will truly be missed. Survivors include her husband, Dr. Pierre C. LeMaster of Fayetteville; three daughters, Katrina Louise Heffinger and husband Jessie of San Diego, Kimberly Paige LeMaster and husband Brad Craven of Charlotte, and Mary Elizabeth Legatski and husband Eric of Fayetteville; a brother, Robert \\"Bob\\" Rhodes of Washington; a sister, Ann Page Meade of Palatka, Fla.; and five grandchildren, Matthew, Jennah, Ethan, Lilliana and Karter.
