FAYETTEVILLE - Margaret Rose O'Briant Collier, 86 of Fayetteville passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2016 in her home. Margaret was born December 4, 1929.

She was a faithful member of Northwood Temple. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Chalmers Collier, Jr. and brother , Robert O'Briant.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Northwood Temple with Dr. John Hedgepeth, officiating. Burial will follow in Collier's Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

Mrs. Collier is survived by her sons, David Collier and wife Ann of Sneads Ferry and Stephen Collier and wife Rhonda of Fayetteville; daughters, Kay Collier Ross of the home; Dianne Kersey and husband Geoff of Surf City and brother, Rex O' Briant and wife Joann of Arizona; sisters, Irma Strickland of Fayetteville and Sara Walker of Lillington; grandchildren, Melanie Collier Ross, Neill Ross III, Catherine Garrett and three great-grandchildren.
