Margarete Elizabeth Boso, 81 of Fayetteville, NC passed away Wednesday evening, January 20, at Womack Army Hospital at Fort Bragg.

She worked for many years as Customer Service Manager of Roses Stores at Westwood Shopping center. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and Oma to her family and a good friend to many.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 28, 2016 from 10-11 am at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home, followed by a service in the funeral home chapel at 11 am. Burial will follow at the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Vernon Boso in 2011 and son Peter in 1970. She is survived by her brother Karl Schmich and wife Quirica of Heilbronn, Germany. She is also survived by a son and three daughters, Rolf Boso and wife Linda of Fayetteville, Marion Gold and companion David Self of Camden, SC, Susan Lance and companion Chris Scott of Daleville, AL and Allison Turner and husband Terry of Florence, SC. She also leaves behind six beloved grandchildren and 14 cherished great-grandchildren.
