McRainey, Margie M. FAYETTEVILLE - Mrs. Margie M. McRainey, 82, of Fayetteville, died Thursday, Aug. 27, 2009, in Heritage Suites. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She was also a retired registered nurse and an active member of First Presbyterian Church and member of Fayetteville's Women's Club. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today, Aug. 29, 2009, in First Presbyterian Church with Dr. John Wright Coker officiating. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street. Mrs. McRainey was preceded in death by her husband, John Robert McRainey. She is survived by sons, John R. McRainey Jr. and wife Kaye of Fayetteville, Dan McRainey of Ocean Isle Beach and William McRainey and wife Dianne of Shallotte; a daughter, Beth McRainey Hargrove and husband Joey of Savannah, Ga.; a sister, Martha Massengill Phillips of Fayetteville; and six grandchildren, Elizabeth McRainey, Bobby McRainey, Daniel McRainey, William McRainey, Pace Hargrove and Catherine Hargrove.
