Mrs. Margie Tyndall Stephenson, 83, of Fayetteville, died Tuesday, October 7, 2008, at her residence. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 10, 2008, at 12 noon in Second Baptist Church. The burial will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park. Mrs. Stephenson worked for Carolina Telephone & Telegraph for over 40 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lorman Dewey Stephenson. She is survived by two sons, David Stephenson of Champaign, Illinois and Stanley Stephenson of Fayetteville; a brother, L.B. Tyndall of Dunn; a sister, Wyoma Lovick of Eastover; and two grandchildren, Richard Stephenson and Hailey Stephenson. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service Friday, from 11 to 12, at Second Baptist Church.
