Mrs. Marian Jeanette Adams, 88, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 21, 2021. She was a loving mother, wife, daughter, and volunteer.

Marian enjoyed doing arts and crafts like knitting, needle work, painting, and metal-flower making. She also enjoyed playing card games and doing cross word puzzles. She enjoyed singing, reading, traveling, walking and many other activities. She was a true seeker of knowledge and guidance for herself and others. She was an active member of First Presbyterian Church in Hickory, NC before moving to Cary.

Marian is predeceased by her loving husband, Leland.

Marian is survived by her daughters, Angela Adams, Lee Anne Beck, and Katherine Adams; sons Brian Adams and Christopher Adams; 11 grandchildren, Bradley Hollers, Emily Adams, Grace Adams, Marian Audri Hodge, Richard Adams, Casey Adams, Hannah Adams, Sebastian McGehee-Adams, Jackson McGehee-Adams, Paige Beck, and Jesse Beck; and 9 great-grandchildren, Leland Hollers, Oliver Adams, Zelda Hodge, Declan Hodge, Betty Ruth, Sheppard Kevin, Honestee, Parker, and Ellie.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at 1 PM at Lafayette Memorial Park. The family requests everyone who attends the graveside service to wear a mask and adhere to CDC's social distancing guidelines.
