Mrs. Marie Giles Scott, 88 of Fayetteville passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2011 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Blackman, officiating. Entombment will follow in the Lafayette Memorial Park Mausoleum on Ramsey St. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 till 2:00 p.m. Tuesday. Mrs. Scott is survived by a daughter-in-law Patricia Giles-Berry and her husband Art, 3 grandchildren: Willard Alan Giles and wife Debbie, Sandra Giles Ashley, Michael Douglas Giles, 5 great-grandchildren: Amy Mason and husband Billy, Krista Giles, Matthew Giles, Tyler Ashley, Joynette Johnson and husband Jay, 4 great-great grandchildren: Nathan Huebner, Lilly Johnson, Tabitha Johnson, Emily Johnson.
