E. Marie Smith, 74, of Fayetteville, died Monday, September 18, 2006, at the NC State Veterans Nursing Home. She was an Army veteran, real estate agent, retired airline stewrdess and reservation agent with Northeastern airlines, a professional dog trainer, and an accountant. Her funeral service will be held Sunday, September 24, 2006 at 2:00 pm. Chaplain M.J. Tucci will officiate. The burial will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park. She is survived by her nephews, Paul Palmisano, of Fayetteville, Thomas Palmisano and Vincent Palmisano, both of Hope Mills; her neices, Tia Palmisano Davis of Greenville, SC, and Theresa Palmisano-Grasso, of Hope Mills. A visitation will be held Saturday, September 23, 2006, from 7 to 8 pm.
