FAYETTEVILLE - Mrs. Mariella A. Ganzer, 66, of 1433 Berriedale Drive, died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2010, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today, Friday, Jan. 22, 2010, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home chapel in Fayetteville with the Rev. Dorothy Ayer officiating. Burial will follow on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010, at 11a.m. in Lafayette Memorial Park. The family will receive friends today from 2 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Ganzer was a member of TOPS 406 Fayetteville, Red Hat Alley Kats and the German Club. She loved bowling, gardening, crafts, cooking and animals. She and her husband continually support the Humane Society. She was preceded in death by her sister, Richarda Carroll. Mrs. Ganzer is survived by her husband, William P. Ganzer; daughters, Lisa Garcia and Theresa Ganzer; sister, Claudia Haag; and two grandchildren, Anthony and Lely Garcia. Services entrusted to Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home of Fayetteville.
