Mrs. Marija Drobez Beckwith, 81, of Fayetteville, NC, died Saturday, October 15, 2022, at her residence.

Marija was born June 17, 1941, in Slovenia.  She was a cosmetic representative for Estee Lauder and enjoyed gardening.  Marija was preceded in death by her daughter, Tina Merson.

Marija is survived by her husband, Joseph D. Phillippe; a sister, Cecilia; two brothers, Martin and Rudy Drobez; a granddaughter, Stephanie Merson; and one great-grandson, Hunter Merson.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home, with a funeral service beginning at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel.  A committal service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, Fort Bragg, NC.
