Mrs. Marilyn Butler Bullard went home to meet her Lord January 1, 2015. She was born on October 26, 1925. She passed away at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

She was born in Salemburg, North Carolina and preceded in death by her husband, Waymon Rudolph Bullard, Sr.

She is survived by her six children; Sue Smith (husband Walter) of Stedman, Waymon Rudolph Bullard, Jr. (wife Carol) of Charlotte, Margie Wilkerson (husband Larry) of Chesapeake, VA, Sharon Cooper of Fayetteville, Beverly Trimmer (husband Tod) of Raleigh, and Martha Terry of Allen, TX;12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

She was a devoted follower of Jesus, a long time member of Manna Church (40 years), a loving mother, and left behind a multitude of friends

A funeral service will be held Monday January 5, 2015 at 2 PM at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1-2 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Cross Creek Cemetery.
