Marion Eugene Hawkins, 79 of Fayetteville, died Monday, November 13, 2017 at UNC Hospital.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery Chapel. Surviving are his wife, Luzia; daughters, Heidi Hawkins and Patricia Hawkins; sons, Jack Hawkins and Edward Johnson, II all of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Dominic Hawkins and wife Donna of Fayetteville, Erin Hawkins of Wilmington, Angel Rose Johnson and Stephon Johnson of Fayetteville; and a host of nieces and nephews.
