Mark Roy Mills, 2 months old, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 10, 2023.

Mark was born on May 18, 2023, in Cumberland County. He brought so much joy and happiness to his family. He always had a smile on his little face and had the cutest facial expressions. He was just learning his voice and was starting to giggle. He loved his big sister and was a little angel to all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandpa, Mark Bain; maternal great grandmother, Faye Bain; maternal great grandparents, Carlton and Betty Hubbard; paternal great grandpa's, Dallas Mills and James Kissner.

Mark is survived by his parents, Joshua and Madeleine Mills; sister, Adaline Mills; maternal grandmother, Cindy Bain; paternal grandparents, Greg and Lynn Mills; aunt and uncle, Hannah and Nick Metteer; maternal great grandpa, Grisson Bain; paternal great grandmas, Gale Kissner and Ann Mills; cousins, Emma Barna and Ruth Metteer; and numerous great aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, August 14, 2023, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Sherwood Presbyterian Church. A burial will follow in the church cemetery.
