Mrs. Martha Jane Petry Rogers, 86, of Fayetteville, died Monday, September 18, 2006, in her home. Funeral services will be held 2 pm Friday, September 22, 2006, in Jernigan Warren Funeral Home chapel with Frank Rogers and the Rev. Ruth Barbour officiating. Burial will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park. A visitation will take place from 6 to 8 pm Thursday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Rogers is survived by her beloved husband of 67 and a half years, Ewell Dalton Rogers of the home; sons, james W. Rogers and wife, Linda of Hope Mills, Ewell Rogers Jr. and wife Joyce of Killeen, Texas, and Frank Rogers and wife, Diana of Cleveland; daughters, Janet Koonce of fayetteville, Violet Morris and husband Thurl of Andover, NY, Linda Norris and husband Robert of Autryville, Sandra Rogers of Fayetteville and Alice Kotula and husband Jim of Cleveland; 25 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and many neices and nephews.
