Fayetteville- Mr. Marvin Stancil Hamilton, Jr., 69, of Fayetteville, died Sunday, January 5, 2014 in his residence. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2014, at 2 pm in Jernigan Warren Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Scott presiding. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Mr. Hamilton was a member of Charity Baptist Church; he retired as the chief electrical inspector with Cumberland County. He is survived by his wife Gale Thomson Hamilton of the home, son Flint Hamilton and wife Susan of Fayetteville, daughter Kate Endriga and husband Fernando of Fayetteville, brothers Ernest Hamilton and wife Margaret of Pittsboro, James Hamilton and wife Faye of Harkers Island, sisters Peggy Lemons of Harkers Island, Patti McDonald and husband Wayne of Fayetteville, grandchildren Adam Hamilton and wife Kimberly, Logan Hamilton, Noah Hamilton, Christopher Endriga, and Abbey Endriga.
