Our beloved Mary Frances Britt, 77, left this world to bewith her Heavenly Father on Thursday, November 13, 2014.Mary Frances passed in her home surrounded byher loving family.Mary Frances wasdiagnosed with cancer on August 22, 2014 and courageously fought her illnessright up to her death.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 15,2014, at 11 am in Jernigan Warren Chapel with Apostle Wiley Hughes presiding.The burial willfollow in Cross Creek Cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10to 11 am on Saturday at the funeral home.

Mary Frances is survived by her loving husband, Paul Britt;her daughter and son-in-law, Monica and A.B. Autry; her son, Clarence Britt;  grandson, Cameron Autry; and a sister, Edna Harris. MaryFrances also has a granddaughter, Megan Autry, who preceded her in death.Our faith ensures that Megan greeted hergrandmother on streets of gold.

Mary Frances was born June 3, 1937, living on a beautifulcountry farm in Sampson County, NC.Shewas raised by Christian parents and gave her life to Christ at the age of 12years old.Mary Frances graduated fromPlainview High School and moved to Fayetteville, NC to attend Worth's BusinessCollege in 1955.After graduating, shegained employment as a legal secretary for Mr. Lester Carter ofFayetteville.While attending the PersonStreet Pentecostal Church in Fayetteville on a Sunday evening she met herfuture husband.They were married onJuly 27, 1956 and were blessed with 58 years of marriage.

Mary Frances always stated she wanted to be an ambassadorfor Christ, after this to be a loving wife and mother.Our hearts and minds know that sheaccomplished this desire with humility and grace.As we mourn the loss of our beloved wife andmother, we are comforted by the thought: the most exciting part of the race iscrossing the finish line.
