Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Collier, of Wilmington, formerly of Fayetteville, died Monday, May 14, 2012. Mrs. Collier was born in Ayden, N.C. March 25, 1916 and was the daughter of Dr. W. Harvey Dixon and Edna Boyd Dixon. She was the widow of Lacy S. Collier of Fayetteville. They were both Charter members of Snyder Memorial Baptist Church. Mrs. Collier is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Elaine and Sam Cromartie III of Ormond Beach, Florida and Linda Ann and Dennis Carr of Willard, N.C. and five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Friday, May 18, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in Lafayette Memorial Park with the Dr. Robbie Byrd officiating
