Mary Helen Jordan, 77 of Fayetteville passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016 in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Mary was born April 27, 1938 in Cumberland County to the late Geneva and Edwin Guin. She was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 24, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. in Cedar Creek Baptist Church with Dr. John Peverett and Rev. Ben Smith, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Jordan is survived by her husband, John L. Jordan of the home; daughters, Deborah Ballenger of Stedman and Betty Jordan of Stedman; sister, Debbie Clifford of Fayetteville; brothers,Jerry Guin of Fayetteville and Larry Guin of Texas; grandchildren, Jeremy Ballenger, Marshall Hardison, Ashley Barker Heffeman, Anthony Barker, III; great-grandchildren, Jason Ballenger and Mason Ballenger.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Breast Cancer Awareness or Parkinson's Foundation.
