Mary Jane Kelly Ingram, of Fayetteville, passed away Friday, April 1, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband Larry Ingram & a sister, Mildred K. McGeachy. She was a Fayetteville native & graduated from Fayetteville City Schools. She attended St. Marys College in Raleigh and graduated from Salem College in Winston Salem. She taught in the Fayetteville City Schools at Person Street School for 7 years. She was always interested in education - she helped as a substitute teacher & tutor in the private schools: Lafayette School & The Fayetteville Academy. She was a member of Highland Presbyterian Church for over 50 Years; a member of Emma Lee Howie Sunday School Class, active in the women of the church work, serving as circle chairman, budget chairman, treasurer of the Women of The Church for 2 terms & was a Sunday School teacher. She was also a member of the Col. Robert Rowan Daughters of the Revolution. She is survived by a daughter, Charlotte Ingram of the home, a brother-in-law, Edgar Ingram & wife Doris of Statesville, a sister-in-law, Mildred Hamby of Durham, nephew, Mike Hamby & wife Teresa of Fuquay-Varina, a neice, Linn Lopez & husband Tony of Durham, a neice, Amy Koonce of Statesville, a great nephew, John Duncan Hamby of Fuquay-Varina, and a great neice, Mary Alex Hamby of Fuquay-Varina. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at 11:00am in Highland Presbyterian Church Chapel by Dr. Ernest Johnson & Dr. Ewart "Doc" Wyle with the visitation following the service at the church. The Burial will be private and will precede the service at Cross Creek Cemetery # 3. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Highland Presbyterian Chruch 111 Highland Ave, Fayetteville, NC 28305
