Mrs. Maxine Murphy Little, 82, of Fayetteville, died Friday, May 4, 2007, in Heritage Suites. Mrs. Little was a charter member of the Church of the Open Door. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 6, 2007, in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home chapel in Fayetteville with Dr. Ralph Richardson and the Rev. William Spencer officiating. Burial will be in Lafayette Memorial Park. A visitation will take place from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Little is survived by her sister, Melba Murphy Rosser of Fayetteville; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde Crumpler and Theron Ambrose Murphy; her husbands, Crawford L. Hedgepeth and Clay R. Little; her brother, Bobby G. Murphy; and her twin sister, Alene M.
