She attended Elon college, met and married Lloyd Langley, her beloved husband of fifty-three years. First and foremost, she was a wife and proud mother of three sons. She is survived by her son, Lloyd Thomas "Tom" Langley, Jr. (Patsy); daughter-in-law, Doris Langley; 5 grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren, all of whom continued to bring her so much joy. They are Meredith (John), Catherine (Nick), Megan (Michael), Lauren (Logan), and Jake; step-grandchildren, Clint (Angela), and Britni (Brian); 2 step-great grandchildren, Cody and Isla; and numerous much-loved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Cathy McDonald for her love and support of Mom over the years and for their special friendship.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 2, 2024, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Cokesbury Methodist Church in Stedman. A Memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. A private service will be held as Mayreece will be laid to rest with her husband in Lafayette Memorial Park.
