EASTOVER - Mrs. Mazie Elizabeth Freeman Britt, 69, of 3445 Goat Alley, Eastover, died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2009, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. Funeral services will be held at 2p.m. today in Praise Fellowship Church of God with the Rev. Kenneth Boyd and the Rev. J. Dan Hudson officiating. Burial will be in Lafayette Memorial Park. Visitation was Monday night at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. Mrs. Britt was preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Florence Freeman and a sister, Annie McCall. She is survived by the love of her life, Tom McLaurin; a daughter, Deborah Reed and husband Gary of Fayetteville; a brother, D.C. Freeman and wife Lillian of Bennettsville, S.C.; a brother-in-law, John McCall of Society Hill, S.C.; three grandchildren, Fran Strickland and husband Anthony, Little Craig McLaurin and wife Brandi, and Marcus McLaurin; and three great-grandchildren, Gracie, Faith and Abby.
