Michael Jason "Mikey" Hadley, 47, of Orange, CA, formerly of Fayetteville, NC, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at West Anaheim Medical Center, Orange, CA.  He is survived by his wife, Laura Odermatt Hadley; his daughter, Haley Jo Hadley; his mother, Brenda Jo Hadley, of Fayetteville, NC; his father, Louis Owen Hadley, Sr. (Young), of Summerville, SC; sister, Julie Anne Franke (Robert) of Cochecton, NY; brother, Louis Owen Hadley, Jr. of Fayetteville, NC; sister, Jaime Lynn Fix (Joel), of Stuttgart, Germany; grandmother, Margaret Ann Scott, of Clarksville, TN; grandmother, Sarah Jane Hadley, of Blackstone, VA; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Mikey graduated with the class of 1994 from Pine Forest Senior High.  He studied Automotive Engineering at Fayetteville Technical Community College.  At the time of his death, he was working as a ride mechanic at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, California.

Mikey had the biggest heart and never met a stranger - his infectious smile and sense of humor made it impossible not to be his friend.  He loved cars, his car club, skateboarding, and was a life-long Atlanta Falcons fan.  Although he will be missed terribly here, his family takes comfort in knowing he is watching over us from Heaven.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 8, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until 11:50 a.m. at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home, followed by a service in the chapel beginning at 12:00 p.m.  Burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park, 2301 Ramsey St., Fayetteville, NC 28301.
