Michael James Starkings

Michael James Starkings, 54, of Fayetteville, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2026.

Michael was born on June 7, 1972, in Cumberland County. He began his career with Starkings Reporting Company, where he worked as a videographer, before becoming the owner and operator of A.C. Tech.

Michael was a loving son and a devoted friend who was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. His kindness, generosity, and willingness to help others will be remembered by all who knew and loved him. He was also a loving pet parent to his cherished fur babies, Abby and Gabby.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald James Starkings. He is survived by his mother, Karen Starkings and stepfather, Samuel Pierce.

A gathering of friends will be held at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home on Sunday, September 13, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
