Mrs. Mildred S. "Bill" Baggette, 87, of 207 Starhill Ave., Fayetteville, passed away Monday, Aug. 11, 2008, in her residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, 2008, in the chapel of Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville with the Rev. Glenn Warner officiating. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Baggette is survived by her daughter, Jan Flowers of Fayetteville; two brothers, Ray Strickland of Raleigh and Ivan Strickland of Buies Creek; a sister, Rose Surles of Goldsboro; a daughter-in-law, Rhea Baggette; two granddaughters, Susan May and Alison Thompson; and four great-grandsons, Paul King, Christopher May, Steven Thompson and Caleb Baggette.
