Mrs. Mildred Owens Griffin, 99, of Fayetteville, died Monday, May 18, 2015, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2015, at 1 pm in Cumberland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.

Mildred was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Griffin.

She is survived by her sister, Helen B. Owens of Bennettsville, SC; nephew, Lindsey Odom of Wilmington, NC; and several nieces and great-nieces.
