Mildred H. Kerr born September 28, 1918, in North Chicago, Illinois, passed on September 5, 2006, in Fayetteville, NC. Mildred retired from the Waukegan Public Library in Waukegan, Illinois, in 1983, as head of the circulation desk. She moved to North Carolina to be with her daughter in 1994. Mildred is survived by her sister, Dorothy M. Landers of Lake Villa, Illinois; her son, David J. Kerr of Delray Beach, Florida; his daughters Lindsay Kerr of Jacksonville, Fl, and Brynn Kerr of Lakemoor, Illinois; her daughter, Barbara L. Zinsser and her husband, Wayne, and their daughter Amy Zinsser, all of Fayetteville, NC; and her dear friend and nurse Louise VanDerRoest of Fayetteville, NC. Viewing will be held at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6 to 8 pm. A memorial service will be held Sunday, September 10, 2006 in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests that you make a donation to your favorite charity.
