Mrs. Mildred Myers 'Maxine' Reaves, 93, of Anderson, SC, formerly of Fayetteville, died early Friday morning, May 16, 2014. Maxine was born December 16, 1920, in Ishock, NE, to the late Walter and Mary Myers. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2014, at 2 pm in LaFayette Memorial Park. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery. She was a charter member of Village Baptist Church and active member until relocating to Anderson, SC in 2006. Maxine was preceded in death by her son, Steven E. Reaves, granddaughter Amy Reaves, and three brothers, Alvin Myers, Walter Myers, and Raymond Myers. She is survived by her daughters, Donna R. Coleman and husband, Robert, of Travelers Rest, SC and Phyllis R. Hammond and husband, Ray, of Anderson, SC; five sisters, Minnie Hampton of Wagner, OK, Mary Ashlock and Ramona Sears, both of Toppenish, WA, Audrey Gall of Woodward, OK and Patricia Bailey of Rochester, WA; 6 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
