Aberdeen, NC- Mrs. Mildred Kathleen Strickland, 91, formerly of Fayetteville, died Monday, April 9, 2012 at the Kingswood Nursing Center. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 14th, at 11:00 a.m. in Jernigan-Warren Chapel and the burial will follow in Cross Creek Cemetery. Surviving are her sisters: Lucille Strickland, Doris Baker, and Maxine Lavender; and brothers: Robert and Floyd Carter. The family will receive friends at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home, Saturday, April 14th, from 10-11 a.m. one hour prior to the service.
