Mildred Williams, 96, of Mebane formerly of Wade, NC passed away on Friday, May 20, 2022 at Authoracare Hospice House in Burlington, NC.

Mildred was born March 13, 1926 in Cumberland County, NC to the late Mattie Bunce and William S. Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie M. Williams; brother, W.S. Williams, Jr.; and sister, Murline Tew.

She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at 11:00 AM at  Lafayette Memorial Park with the Rev. Jacob Navey, officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service.

She is survived by her daughters, Carol Ward and husband William and Cynthia Norton; son, Mac Williams and wife Lynn; grandchildren, Christie Gulley and husband Travis, Brittianie Ward and husband Joe, Ashley Eller and husband Kenneth, Jason Norton, Hayley Navey and husband Jacob, Kelsey Welborn and husband Randall; great-grandchildren, Landon Gulley, Ashton Gulley, Layla Eller, Eli Navey, Selah Navey, Canan Navey, Darci Welborn, and Stetson Welborn.
