Mrs. Minnie D. Meadows, 80, of Fayetteville, died Friday, Feb. 23, 2007, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 1 pm Monday, Feb. 26, 2007, in Stedman Church of God of Prophecy with Pastor Donald Baldwin officiating. The burial will follow at Lebanon Baptist Church cemetery. A visitation will take place from 7 to 9 pm Sunday evening, Feb. 25, 2007, at Jernigan Warren Funeral Home. Mrs. Meadows is survived by four sons, Dwight Lucas Sr. and wife, Judy; Milton Lucas and wife, Ginny; Lawrence Lucas and wife, Nury; and Dwight Lucas Jr. and wife Sandra; three sisters, Vonnie Herman and husband, Gene, Lucille Canady and husband R.W., and Shirley McLeod; grandchildren, Cortney and Larry Lucas Jr, Steve Pierson, Jerry Lucas, Linda King and husband Jeff, Johnny Lucas and wife Teresa and Eilene McNamara and husband, Joe; and great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Jerry Jr., Marcus, Lauren, Britney, Jeffrey Jr., Annie, Jacob, Catie, Ryan, Ashley, Deborah, Alex and Kaitlyn.
