Miriam Ann Sealey Boswell, 88, of Fayetteville, passed away at her home on Thursday, October 6, 2022, surrounded by her family.

Miriam was born on January 19, 1934, in Cumberland County to the late William J. Sealey and Virginia Hubbard Sealey.  Miriam retired from Ft. Bragg Civil Service after 32 years in various positions ending as a counselor with Army Emergency Relief.

She was a devout Christian woman and a member of Cedar Falls for over 70 years serving in every possible position while her health allowed her to participate, including VBS, Choir, Youth Ministry, Nursery and was a Nana to all the children whom she dearly loved.  In the past months, she ministered to others by telephone even as she was bed-ridden herself.  She loved cooking, baking, crafts, and gardening as she was able.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. Boswell, Sr.; brothers, Wilbert J. Sealey and Peter Lee Sealey; and sister, Marie S. Banks.

She is survived by her son, Robert B. Boswell, Jr.; granddaughter, Allycia Beth Muphy; two great grandchildren, Connor Murphy and Harley Murphy; and numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Debra Boswell, who lovingly cared for Ann for many years.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 8, 2022, from 6 to 8 pm at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Sunday, October 9, 2022, at 2 pm at Cedar Falls Baptist Church with Pastor Floyd Benfield, officiating.  Burial will follow at McKay Cemetery on Ramsey St.
