Merle Teague-Holata HOPE MILLS - Mrs. Merle Teague-Holata, 87, of Hope Mills, died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2009, in Campbellton Nursing Home. She was a member of Snyder Memorial Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 26, 2009, at 2p.m. at Jernigan-Warren Funeral chapel in Fayetteville. Burial in Lafayette Memorial Park, Ramsey Street. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 26, 2009, at the funeral home. Mrs. Teague-Holata is survived by her husband, Charles Holata of Hope Mills; daughters, Barbara Holditch of Hope Mills, Janet Carter of Fayetteville, and Becky Teague Lockamy and husband Jerry of Hope Mills; sister, Arlene Barrett of Akron, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, Joseph Spell, Robert Stewart Jr., Mark Holditch, Paul Holditch, Brian Holditch, Kimberly Hunt, Johnnie O. Carter Jr., Denise Dixon-Huggins, Donna Parker and Tommy Dixon; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Teague; and daughter, Carol Teague. Services entrusted to Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home of Fayetteville.
