Myong H. Kendall, 65, of Fayetteville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 2, 2022.

Myong (Mary) was born July 4, 1956 in South Korea. She was a hairdresser and owner of Mary's Beauty Shop in Fayetteville. She was a long-time choir member of St. Andrew Kim Korean Catholic Church.

Myong is survived by her beloved son, Kevin F. Kendall; daughter-in-law, Kendra Kendall; grandson, Isaiah F. Kendall; and goddaughter, Jackie E. Relyea.

Myong was known for her outgoing nature, generosity, warmth, and kind, caring, and compassionate spirit. She deeply cared for her family members, friends, and customers. She always put others first over herself. We will miss her love of helping people, her warm and beautiful smile, and her infectious laugh.

A Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022, from 6pm to 8pm at Jernigan Warren Funeral Home.

The Funeral Mass will be held on Sunday, February 6, 2022, at 1pm in St. Andrew Kim Korean Catholic Church, 1401 Valencia Dr., Fayetteville, NC.  Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park West on Raeford Road.
