Myrtlene "Tootsie" Dallas Benitez, 74 of Gray's Creek, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 8, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jaddie Vinston Dallas and Mytrtle Catherine Ransom Dallas, her siblings, Jaddie Jerry Dallas and Walter Hughie Dallas and son Jaddie Green Hulon.

A graveside service will be held at 10am on Friday, August 10th 2018 at Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street

"Tootsie" was a strong, loving, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Surviving are brother, Wayne Dallas and wife Gloria; sister, Elizabeth "Sam" Benson; daughter, Carmen Hulon Williams and husband Joey; son William Benitez, II ; six grandchildren, Jenice Williams, Ty Williams and wife Mary, Jaddie "J.W." Hulon and wife Brook, Dylan Hulon and wife Jessica, Gabrielle Benitez and Ryan Benitez; six great grandchildren, Ryland Burns, Gavin Williams, Hunter Walter, Addalynn Williams, Wyatt Hulon and Hadley Hulon.
