Nancy Thomas Bennett, 89, of Fayetteville passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Nancy was born in Wilmington, NC on November 12, 1932  to the late Leona Ellis and Ernest Thomas. She was preceded in death by her son, Roy Bennett.

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Jernigan-Warren Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service on Wednesday.

Nancy enjoyed listening to all kinds of music and she also loved animals.

She is survived by a cousin, Patricia Leano and her husband Manny of Vacaville, California and their children;  and numerous friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fayetteville Animal Protection Society (FAPS).
