Mrs. Nancy Broadway Torres, 66, of Fayetteville, passed to her eternal life in Heaven, to her God and Savior on Monday, February 22, 2016. She was born in Newport, Virginia on March 23, 1949. Preceding her heavenly homecoming were her mother, Dora Powell, and brother, Ferman Broadway. She spent her life nurturing, encouraging, and loving deeply, the family she had always wanted.

Memorial Services will be held 6:00 p.m. Friday at Jernigan /Warren Funeral Home located at 545 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, North Carolina 28301 with Pastor JR Hopson officiating. Interment will be on Monday, February 29, 12:00 p.m. at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake, North Carolina.

Survivors include her loving husband, Joe Torres of Fayetteville, NC; Her cherished daughters, Wendy Arnold of Greenville, SC, and husband Charles Arnold; Rose DeComo of Glen Burnie, MD and John DeComo; Irene Torres of Fayetteville, NC; and Katherine Torres of Simsbury, CT and husband Josh Torres; precious grandchildren, Charles Joseph Arnold and Chloe Arnold of Greenville, SC; Cydnie DeComo, Cheyenne DeComo, and Savannah DeComo of Glenn Burnie, MD; Kori Torres, Dezmon Torres, and Bryan Mills of Fayetteville, NC; and Malia Fink of Simsbury, CT; blessed great grand-daughter Peyton Torres. Also, beloved sisters Helen Donald, Becky Hilton, and Joyce Martinez; The Martin family, Brother-In-Law Carl Martin; and Sisters-In-Laws Michelle, Jenelle, and Jeanie.
