Mrs. Naomi Forehand Cain, 90, 1721 Joncee Dr., Fayetteville, died Sunday, June 3, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Her funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 pm in Salem United Methodist Church with Revs. Jay Winston and Melinda Ivey officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Cain was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was born in Florida and raised in Falcon, NC. She was a former co-owner of Riverside Mattress Co. She was a very active member of Salem United Methodist Church and a very active choir member. She was also active with the Nell Mooney Group. She is survived by her husband, Odus McDuffie Cain of the home; her daughter, Dale Cain of Fayetteville; her grandchildren, Allen Cain Huber, Holly Rumsey, JoAnna Walden; her great-grandchildren, Ashley, Justin, Michael, Emily, Jennifer, Josh, Jacob, and Bailey. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jay Lemuel and Pauline Forehand; her sisters, Hazel Robinson, Virgia Pippert, and Norma Berryman; and her brother, Orsdell Haywood Forehand. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Thursday, from 12 to 1 pm in the church parlor at Salem UMC.
