Naomi Frances Melvin Bullington, 92 of Fayetteville, N. C., passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Cape Fear Valley Hospital.

She loved to go and enjoy life to its fullest. She was loved and will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Bullington is preceded in death by her parents, George F. and Lenora Paralee Tatum Melvin; her husband, J. P. Bullington; her brothers, Samuel (Sam) Melvin, Wayne Melvin, Elmer Carl Melvin, (infant), Kirby Lee Melvin, (infant); her sisters, Esther Melvin Smith, Beatrice Melvin Beard, and Wanda Melvin Watkins. She was also preceded in death by a son, Edward Bullington; daughters, Brenda Bullington Smith and Glenda Bullington Owen; a son-in-law, Jerry Owen; and a grandson, Don Smith.

Mrs. Bullington is survived by two sons, Garry Bullington and wife, Joan, and Jed Bullington and wife, Jackie; daughter-in-law, Mary Bullington; and son-in-law, Gene Smith. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 29, 2018 from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. A Celebration of her life will be held Monday, April 30, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home with Rev. Neill Smith, officiating. Burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens.
