Mr. Nathan Johnson Mills, 86, of Linden died Tuesday, February 28, 2012, in his residence. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon, March 2, 2012, at 3 pm in St. Andrews United Methodist Church with Dr. Gerry Davis officiating. The burial will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2 to 3 pm at the church. Mr. Mills was a Navy veteran of WWII and a member of the American Legion. He worked for the Ft. Bragg Schools for 26 years and Binswanger Glass for 8 years before retiring. Nathan was also a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Louise Reaves Mills of the home; two daughters, Leslie Dumas and husband Don of Linden and Susie McGraw and husband Steve of Cincinnati, OH; five grandchildren, Catherine Diehl and husband Kyle, Benjamin McGraw and wife Lora, Alison Cremeans and husband Aron, Jessica McGraw, and Sarah McHenry and husband Steve; 6 great-grandchildren, Anna McGraw, William McGraw, Emma Lou McGraw, Aubrey Diehl, Jamie McHenry and Christopher McHenry; two sisters-in-law, Eleanor Holder and Helen Blaisdell; and a number of nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Andrews United Methodist Church Building Fund, 5804 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC 28311.
