Mrs. Nettie Ann Blair-Ballas, 59, of Fayetteville, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2007, in her home. Mrs. Blair-Ballas was a retired middle school teacher and taught for 28 years in J.T. Alton Middle School in Vine Grove, Ky. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2007, at 10 a.m. in St. Andrews United Methodist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Chris Aydlett. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2007, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Mrs. Blair-Ballas is survived by her husband, George C. Ballas of the home; sisters, Billie Jean Stecker of Littleton, Colo. and Joyce Neal Flatt of Somerset, Ky.; brother, Luther Edward Blair of Bowling Green, Ky.; seven nephews; six nieces; eight great-nephews; 12 great-nieces; two great-great-nephews; and a great-great-niece. She was preceded in death by her father, Cecil Grissom Blair; mother, Stella Hazel Wooldridge Blair; and brother, Fred Allan Blair. Services entrusted to Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home of Fayetteville.
