Mrs. Norma "Eileen" Norris, 89, of Fayetteville, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur W. Norris; and her parents, Ethel and Roy Coburn. Mrs. Norris spent many years in Florida, where she was president of Guarantee Title Co. in Deerfield Beach. She was a past matron of her Eastern Star chapter. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008, at 1 p.m. in Village Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park West. The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at the church. She is survived by her son, Thomas Norris and wife Carolyn, as well as three grandchildren and their spouses, and numerous great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister, Shirley Thompson; her nieces, Karen Simkin and Janis Matastasio and their spouses; and numerous great-nieces and a nephew. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be given to Village Baptist Church Building Fund, 906 S. McPherson Church Road, Fayetteville, NC 28303.
