Norma Patton-Burhman, 87, of Fayetteville passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
Norma was born January 8, 1936, in Albany, Kentucky to the late Ola Anna and Curtis Willen. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Patton and sisters, Jo Deford, Patricia Schaeffer, and Ann Odier.
Norma retired after 29 years from Camp Ground United Methodist Church Preschool.
A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at 10 AM at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery at Ft. Bragg, NC. The family will receive friends at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 from 6-8:00 PM.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Burhman; children, Lori Jackson (Neil), Kevin Patton (Tammy), Mark Patton (Krysten); brother, Charles Willen; grandchildren, Charles Patton (Meagan), Reed Jackson and fiancé Amanda York, Anna Patton (Ben), Mary- Neil Jackson, Emily Patton; great-granddaughters, Andi Patton and Bruni Greenwood; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Campground United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund or Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery.
