Frank Davenport, 73 of Fayetteville went to be with his Lord and Saviour on Thursday, February 12, 2015. Frank was a member of Snyder Memorial Baptist Church.

He was a graduate of Oak Ridge Military School, Campbell College, East Carolina University and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in Snyder Memorial Baptist Church Chapel with Rev. Sandy Saunders officiating. A private burial will follow.

The family will receive friends at the church in the gathering hall from 9:45 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Monday. He was preceded in death by his parents, O.F. and Minnie Davenport and sister Dorothy Ragsdale.

Frank is survived by his wife, Fran Davenport of the home; son, Jeremy Smith of Deltona, Fla.; daughters, Beth Moore of Manteo and Fran Castellow of Yorktown, Va.; niece, Sandra Hammond of Rock Hill, SC and 8 grandchildren.
