FAYETTEVILLE - Mrs. Omer Elizabeth Young Naylor, 90, of Fayetteville, was called home by God to be one of his beloved angels on Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010. Mrs. Naylor was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, James Otis Naylor; her parents, John A. and Ida Young; her stepfather, John D. Nance; brothers, Luther Young, Alton Young, Bill Nance and Woodrow Nance; and sisters, Johnnie Mae Young Marks, Myrtle Young Poole, Lois Nance Autry, Eunice Nance Simmons, Mildred Nance Daniel and Mae Nance Daniel. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2010, in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street, with the Rev. Archie Barringer officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Mrs. Naylor is survived by a daughter, Polly Naylor Myers of the home; a grandson, Joshua Myers of the home; brothers, Eulon Young of Heflin, Ala., Donald Nance of Salemburg, and Dolon Nance of Oak Harbor, Wash.; a sister, Jewel Nance Spell of Terrell, Texas; and her beloved cat, Boots. Services entrusted to Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home of Fayetteville.
