Opal Jackson White ,98, of Maggie Valley, NC, formerly of Fayetteville, NC passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Maggie Valley Nursing and Rehab with her granddaughter Darlene Brady by her side.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lee Roy Jackson and mother Mary Eason Jackson and her husband Luther David White; two daughters, Doris Fay White and Judy White Taylor.

She is survived by two daughters, Susan Ann Lozaw; and Gloria Dale Bentley (Husband Jerry) and a son David Curtis White (Wife Julia) a sister Reba Axtell and 15 grandchildren and many great grandkids.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 1, 2023 from 11:30-1pm at Jernigan Warren Funeral Home with the funeral following at 1pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens on Raeford Road.
