Oskar Grettir Nesbitt, of Fayetteville passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021.

Grettir was born on April 5, 2020, in Cumberland County to Kimberly Van Wy Nesbitt and Wayne Nesbitt, Jr.  He loved dancing, eating Oreos for breakfast, eating goldfish, cuddling, and playing in the water. He loved attending mass at St. Michael the Archangel Maronite Catholic Church.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021, at 10 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Maronite Catholic Church with Father Paul Damien officiating. Burial will be held at Our lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery in Newton Grove. The family will receive friends from 6- 8 p.m. on Thursday at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.

Grettir is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Wayne Nesbitt, Sr.

He is survived by his parents, Kimberly, and Wayne Nesbitt; sisters, Annika, Cameron, Ulla, and Philomena; brothers, Alex, Braxton, Ishod, Ryker, Trevor, Gunnar, and Gabriel; maternal grandparents, Richard, and Patricia Van Wy; paternal grandmother, Garnetta Johnson.
