Pansy Presler Culbreth of Eastover passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at the age of 81.
She was born in Wadesboro, NC on May 20, 1931, to the late Bruce and Azaline Presler. She was also preceded in death by a son, Michael Dougald Culbreth and a brother, Bobby Presler.
Pansy worked at Horne's Jewelers in downtown Fayetteville and later at JCPenney's Jewelry until her retirement in 2003. She was a member of The Eastern Star of the Longleaf Pine Chapter #186 in Cumberland County.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Dougald Geddie Culbreth; brother, Bruce Davis Presler and wife, Shelby, of Greensboro; son, Larry and his wife, Jelette; daughter, Teresa Culbreth; grandchildren, Beth C. Sizemore, Ryan Culbreth, Laura C. Holman, Olivia C. Swicegood, Brooke McLaurin Autry, and Whitney Culbreth; two great-grandsons, Porter Douglas Autry and Berkley Swicegood.
An 11 o'clock a.m. graveside service is planned for Friday, March 1, 2013, at Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery with Dr. Bill Snotherly and Chaplain Archie Barringer officiating.
