Mrs. Patricia A. Askew, 70, of Fayetteville, died Sunday, June 27, 2010, in her residence. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon, June 30, 2010, at 3 o'clock p.m in Jernigan Warren Chapel with Rev. Raymond Wade officiating. The burial will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park West. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Malcolm H. Askew of the home; two sons, Malcolm H. Askew, Jr. of Fayetteville and Christopher S. Askew of Raleigh; three granddaughters, Katie Hubbard and husband Brian, Christina Anderson and husband Matthew, and Sarah Askew; great-granddaughter, Madelyn Ray Hubbard; sister, Carolyn Roth of Clinton, NC; and brother, Garland Britt Hatcher of Clinton. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3 pm Wednesday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
